Bio

Sorsari (pronounced sorcery), is a multi-genre bass music producer and DJ based in Edmonton, Canada.
He emerged as one of the defining voices in the early wave movement, a sound that blends the weight of bass music with the emotional textures of ambient and cinematic soundscapes. His rise began in 2016, with regular airplay on Plastician’s Rinse FM shows, which helped establish him as one of the genre’s key champions. Since then, he has continued to push boundaries, shaping the sound of wave and beyond.
Over the years, Sorsari has released on respected labels including Terrorhythm, ProgRAM, and Sable Valley, with standout tracks like Dyne and Children of Gaia earning him recognition as one of wave’s most “recognizable producers” . His catalog moves fluidly between hypnotic atmospheres, emotive melodies, and the harder edges of dubstep, grime, and footwork, demonstrating his ability to transcend genre limitations.
In 2019, he toured across the United States, further cementing his reputation in the underground bass scene. Critics and fans alike praise his music for its ability to move listeners emotionally. Whether on stage or in headphones, Sorsari’s music is an invitation into otherworldly spaces — where heavy sound design meets raw emotion.
His work continues to inspire wave producers worldwide, while his live performances bring his cinematic and bass-heavy vision to life.
